What is a Holistic Health Coach?

As a Certified Holistic Health Coach, I have studied literally 100s of dietary theories and I can help you discover and design the approach that works best for you. Holistic means that I look at the whole person. You are not a math equation of calories in, calories out. Healthy relationships, fulfilling passion, regular physical activity and even your spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When you are being fed by life, it becomes so much easier to make nourishing food choices every day.

How are you different from a licensed nutritionist or dietician?

Licensed Nutritionists and dieticians are trained to assess your nutritional needs. They will help you establish goals to meet your nutritional needs and provide counseling around health and disease. Plans are designed based on their findings. How I am different is that I teach you how certain foods work in your body and how to simply build those foods into your life. My programs also reach far beyond the food you eat by digging into what drives your cravings, sabotage & slips. I will give you the tools you need for your personal body freedom!

What are most of your clients like?

Many of my clients are just like me. I love to work with motivated women who are ready to get it done! My clients are often frustrated by years of short-term weight loss followed by weight gain. They have battled the same 15, 20, 40 pounds for way too long and they are sick and tired of it. Their struggle with weight is the one thing that they can’t get control over. My clients experience weight loss but even more than that, they see improved energy, greater sex drive, clear skin, bright eyes and confidence.

What type of person would NOT be an ideal client?

My programs are not for you if you are looking for a rigid plan that includes counting calories, weighing or measuring. If you are in a hurry or looking for a quick fix, this might not be the ideal match. I choose to work with people who are ready to invest in themselves, are willing to be patient and trust me in the process. Some changes happen quickly but breaking the cycle of chronic dieting can take time.

How quickly will I see results?

This is a tricky question because everyone sees results at different stages. Your results and the effort you put in go hand in hand. Most of my clients feel less bloated and have more energy in the first week! The most significant results come in 1-3 months. Again – this varies by the individual. I’ve seen dramatic results in just a few weeks.

Where do you see clients?

The majority of my clients work with me in telephone coaching sessions. I have clients all over the world who have very busy lives. The phone sessions save the client time in traveling to see me in person. In some cases, we will use Skype for our sessions.

How do I get started?

If it feels like the right time for you to try a whole new way to lose weight, then invite you to schedule your FIRST STEP with me. This is a 30 minute coaching call where you will share your goals & challenges while getting clear on how I can support you. You will get a sense for how I work as well as what type of program would fit into your life. At the end of your First Step Consultation, you will feel seen, heard and understood and you will know exactly what the next step is for you.
